Tanishka Kotia-WFM photoREC sponsored Tanishka Kotia under its CSR activities won WFM (Women FIDE Master) in 14th ASEAN+ Age-Group Chess Championship held at Thailand from 5th June 2013 to 13th June 2013 after giving unbeatable performance at the tournament.

Tanishka won the championship almost 2 rounds before by continuously winning 7 rounds of the total 9 rounds. In all rounds she scored 8 points out of possible 9 points. Tanishka gave such a tough competition that she left her nearest competitor behind by 1.5 points.

In the Championship there were 426 top players from 14 countries viz. Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taipei, Vietnam and Russia participated under various categories.
